All JAMB 2014 Pending Results & Biometric Issues - Candidates, Read This!
First of, this thread is not created to post your JAMB registration
number for result checking. If you need to check your JAMB results, click here.
This thread is created to address issues of those who have checked
their results are are seeing messages they don't understand.
Following the release of the JAMB 2014 Results, lamentations and cries have been coming from candidates whose results have been seized for one reason or the other. Some of the reasons why these results have been held back are as follows;
- No “Biometric Verification”
- No Result Yet
- You have exceeded your allowable five times access
- You were involved in wide spread cheating
- You were involved in using electronic devices
- Due to lateness to the exam hall
We will now attempt to tackle these issues one after the other, using information provided to us from various sources including JAMB officers.
These are candidates who have been accused of not taking proper biometric (Thumb Print) verification either during registration or during accreditation. While some candidates may have been involved in impersonation (invalid thumb print) others were involved in double registration using different finger prints.
According to our sources in JAMB, these results are still under investigation. From what Myschool gathered, majority of results under this category will be released as it was clearly not the fault of the candidates.
Our sources disclosed that within the next 2 weeks, all result in this category will be sorted and released. A very small fraction however, will actually be held back if traces of impersonation or double registration is detected on an invalid thumb print. Those that will be appropriately screened for impersonation are those where the thumb printing exercise was successfully carried out.
Our advise to candidates in this category is to exercise some patience. If indeed any of the reasons stated above was not traced to your information, your result will definitely be released within 2 weeks, while some may begin seeing their results by the end of this week so check back by weekend. Please pray hard that your result will not be held back due to human error.
Those in this category are different from those of biometric verification. While majority of those in biometric problem will have their results released, majority of those in this category were held back due to reports of cheating.
In this situation, only prayer is the key to releasing the result. Only a handful of the results in this category will be released. If you are in this category, you are advised to also check back at least every weekend and mid-week (Wednesdays) starting from 28th April.
If you're in this category, you have no problem at all. The only issue is that you probably posted your JAMB registration number on a public platform, website or on facebook and over 5 users of the website(s) have help you check your result.
There are 2 options available;
1. You can either visit all the platforms or facebook where you published your reg. number to help you check and see if there's a reply to your request.
2. You can get your original JAMB result slip once and for all.
Our advise for you however, is to take "Option 2" and get your original JAMB result slip. This is because whether or not you like it, you will still need to get your original JAMB result slip as this is the only document that is accepted when you go for Post-UTME or Admission Screening because it has your registration passport on it. If you see this inscription while checking your result, just forget about the 2014 JAMB. It's either you start preparing for 2015 JAMB or seek other options such as pre-degree, diploma or IJMB Programmes.

They lie to us that our shadows are real. They condition us to drop our
brawns and pick up the books so that we can be useful to the society.
They tell us that we have the power to save the future while they do
everything to murder our present. Is this the transformation we dream
of? That we will struggle through spells of broken education? That our
lecturers would go on strike for eternity? That our maidens will become
road-side harlots passing the Nights with pot-bellied fat cows in our
cities? That our guys evolve into roving urchins,fraudsters,club riders
and terrors of the Neighborhood? Who will rescue poly students from men
bereft of hearts?
At every promising dawn of the day,we helplessly garner our tears in baskets while our leaders bask in the radiance of political rallies. If they were men on the street,they would understand the shadows of sorrow and orgies of anger hanging behind our smiles and relish to life. We are jaded,we are weeping,we are angry.Who will rescue poly students from men bereft of hearts?
Over 8 months,they left us to our own device. When we summon guts to express our discontents via protest,they call us ''miscreants''. When we harden and gather our muscles to reach up to the sky through all available means,they jail us and execute us behind the prison forgetting that we are the products of their decadence.Forgetting that they fail to educate us and so,we find education some where else. Who will rescue poly students from men bereft of heart?
We shall not forget the shoeless story bearer who took our dog-eared shoes off our feet. We will continue to remember the meek and humble Goodluck that perverted our shining luck in rant and rage. Whenever we stand bare to narrate the tales that chronicle our rise to victory,we shall refer to Nyesom Wike, Okonjo Iweala and others who left our destiny crawling and our hope hanging on the balance.
Posterity will remember all who intruded our world and made us the scum of the earth,in suspicion and derision. The thrust of karma shall pay them all in their own perks.
who will rescue polytechnic students from men bereft of hearts? Is it the society that left us in our grief or the media that pretended to be unaware of the state of polytechnics?
Shall we take destiny into our hands or call on God to deliver us from the scourge of our merciless leaders? The latter remains the alternative that will serve our course! Lets call on GOD.
